The M1 is an in-house Apple chip, so you're going to have to get it built into one of Apple's machines rather than standalone. Orders for these new M1 products will open up on April 30th, and will start shipping out to buyers in May. Unlike previous M1 products, these will be built from the ground up with the M1 in mind, incorporating new, thinner chassis thanks to the M1's greater efficiency.
